Your First Step to Confident & Certified Sailing

Dreaming of skippering your own yacht in the Whitsundays, joining a local twilight race, or crewing more effectively on a sailing yacht or catamaran anywhere in the world? 

The International Crew Package is your gateway to becoming a competent, confident sailor with a globally recognised certification.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or have a little experience already, this comprehensive training package will give you the skills, knowledge and sea-time to charter yachts in sheltered waters and confidently crew in real-world conditions.

The Crew Package combines multiple core courses at a discounted rate, delivered by professional instructors on Sydney’s newest fleet of luxury yachts.

What’s Included?

• Introduction to Yachting: 2 days from 10am – 4pm
• International crew certificate: 2 days from 9am – 530pm
• Night Sail: 1 evening from 530pm – 9pm
• Inshore Bareboat Charter Course: 1 day from 9am – 4pm
• PLUS: 3 hours of bonus complimentary sailing

That’s 42.5 hours of professional, on-water training on world-class yachts.

Investment: $2,150 AUD

Includes all tuition, course materials, yacht time, fuel, safety equipment and tax.

The only additional cost is a one-time USD $45 admin fee for IYT International Crew Certification (standard or express shipping available).

Certification with IYT Worldwide

Upon successful completion, you’ll be awarded the International Crew Certificate—an internationally recognised qualification issued through International Yacht Training (IYT).

IYT is the global leader in sail training accreditation, accepted by charter operators and maritime bodies around the world. This certification allows you to:

✔ Bareboat charter yachts in sheltered waters (e.g. Whitsundays, Sydney Harbour)
✔ Join races or recreational cruises as certified crew
✔ Begin your pathway to becoming a Skipper or Yacht Owner
✔ Gain insurance validation for crewing on shared or private vessels

Flexible Scheduling

Courses are run regularly with small class sizes to maximise your hands-on learning. Based on your availability, you can complete the full package in as little as 3 weeks, or spread it out over up to 3 months.

What’s Next?

After earning your Crew Certificate, many of our students continue on with the International Skipper Package to qualify for coastal/international sailing and bareboat chartering overseas.
